Focus Group
Interviews
Each execution of
your Organizational Survey should be preceded by a small number of focus
groups with staff. The purpose of these focus groups is to contribute
to the development of the survey. In the interest of representation,
one or more of these focus groups should consist of management employees,
non-exempt employees, exempt or professional employees, and possibly
union employees, and non-regular employees. Selecting people for these
focus groups will involve a combination of statistical sampling, and
specific nominations by the Organizational Survey project manager or
Steering Committee.
