Initial Planning Meeting

This will be the very first working session between the Survey Consultant and your company. The Survey Consultant should meet with the Organizational Survey Project Manager and selected others. This need not be a full convocation of a large working group. The Organizational Survey Project Manager can make some judicious choices about whom the consultant meets. One whole day should be set aside for several small meetings and individual discussions.

The consultant will discuss general issues of approach, speak to a number of the key players, understand the recent history and significant events at your company, see the organization structure, have a briefing on employee and labor relations, and get as close as possible to a working agenda and schedule.
