Executive
Interviews
We recommend individual
discussions of the survey process with your top executive and several
key officers. The Survey Consultant should have the Steering Committee
member from the respective area join in this interview. In these executive
interviews, the Survey Consultant would seek to understand each executive's
objectives regarding the survey, and the issues they feel are critical
in achieving their mission and strategy. The consultant wants to understand
their concerns regarding the survey process and modify the overall plan
to be responsive to these concerns.
Finally, the Survey Consultant would
share the general approach to this project to ensure they feel
comfortable with the overall process, and that they understand their
role in using survey results for effective organizational improvement.
In all surveys it is critical that the constituents find the survey
relevant and actionable. It is important for your top executive and key
leaders to show their support for the survey process. The survey must be
seen as a management program and not as a human resources program. [In
the interests of time and cost considerations, these interviews can be
conducted by telephone conference calls.
