eXperts in the display of quantitative
information: We believe it is our job to reduce the information-processing
burden on the part of those who use survey data. Our goal is to make
the meaning of the data apparent by looking at it, so that the user
can identify issues quickly and start on the road to taking actions.
eXperts in database design: We have adopted
a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) model for our data storage
and analysis infrastructure. A relational model differs from the usual
flat file, or rectangular data model, that is employed by statistical
programs like SPSS. Using a relational model gives us several advantages:
- It is easier to manage
an archive of historical data where variable/field definitions
change from one survey period to the next, and to integrate
history data into current reports.
- There is no practical
limitation to the number of variables/fields (a.k.a., survey
questions) that we can handle at one time.
- There is no practical
limitation to the number of response cases (a.k.a., employees)
we can handle at one time.

We can integrate other
sources of data into our reports and into our analyses that are related,
but not identical, to your Organizational Survey data. For example,
turnover, financial data, and customer satisfaction data, collected
on a location or regional level, are easily incorporated into an analysis
of the client's Organizational Survey results.
